Bereits in meiner Kindheit war das Zeichnen ein großes Hobby, welches sich im jungen Erwachsenenalter intensiviert hat. Ich begann damals mich mit Bleistift-, Graphit- und Kohlekunst auseinanderzusetzen bis ich dann später bei der Acryl- und Aquarellmalerei angelangt bin.

Darüber hinaus arbeite ich auch mit verschiedenen Materialien, die ich in der Natur finde. Dabei werde ich meist von meinen zwei Töchtern unterstützt, die begeisterte Sammlerinnen von Naturmaterialien sind, wenn wir im Hinterland rund um Lindau oder am Bodensee unterwegs sind.

Die Natur, die Küste und die stille Schönheit der Welt um mich herum sind weiterhin eine wichtige Inspirationsquelle für meine Kunst.

Drawing has been a great passion of mine since childhood, and my interest in art grew even stronger in my early adulthood. I began exploring pencil, graphite and charcoal before eventually discovering acrylic and watercolour painting.

In addition, I enjoy working with a variety of natural materials that I find outdoors. My two daughters are enthusiastic little collectors and often help me gather interesting natural treasures when we are exploring the countryside around Lindau or spending time by Lake Constance.

Nature, the coast and the quiet beauty of the world around me continue to be an important source of inspiration for my art.
